Musical Pathways is an after-school maker-space created by Darlyne de Haan and Damiso Josey using music as the tool for the creative thinking process. Musical Pathways is for all students; any at-risk student or non at-risk student seeking to express themselves through the use of music. The teachers are taught the three part series of the program; Writer's Block, Recording and Production, Stage Performance and Public Speaking Techniques. We provide information on the equipment needed to fit all budget levels. This is a must do PD with the intended purpose to not only increase student achievement through an incentive based model, but to aid students in developing the critical thinking processes that are so important to STEM careers.
